Planning Your Flowers
You have a lot of details to attend to in planning your wedding. And we're happy to say that ordering your
flowers with Leaf & Petal will be one of your most enjoyable tasks! From our initial consultation to the big day
itself, we're your floral partner and will make sure everything is perfect for you. Here's how to get going!
1.
Call or e-mail us to set-up an appointment for your initial consultation. (877) 359-1199.
2. Prepare for
your consultation:
- Collect a folder of pictures of floral designs you like from wedding magazines, the Internet
and other sources. This will help you and us identify styles and colors that are appealing to you.
- check
out our flower estimator. This will help you develop a sense of what your flower budget should be. Just fill in the quantities of each
type of design that you will need. Click here to try it out.
3. Come to the consultation with the following items. Don't worry if you don't have
it all yet - we can get it later!
- Your picture folder.
- Pictures of the bride's dress and the
attendants' dresses - a fabric swatch of the attendants' dress is very helpful.
- Samples of other
materials that illustrate the color palette and style for your wedding.
- A list of all the people in your wedding party,
including any honored guests who may have flowers.
4. After the consultation, we will draw up a proposal
and send it to you.
- After reviewing it and calling us with any changes you'd like to make, sign it and
return to us.
- We book a maximum of two weddings per weekend. We request a 30% deposit to hold your date no more than
five days after the presentation of your wedding flower proposal. All dates are reserved on a first come first booked basis.
5.
Four weeks before the wedding a follow-up consultation will be scheduled. Any adjustments to the proposal will be discussed and
the delivery time line will be finalized. Final payment on the floral balance is due at this time.
6. The big day
- the wedding is perfect, and so are the flowers, thanks to Leaf & Petal!
